You are responding to the following ad:

Ad Number:1684910
Date Placed:04/29/24
Name:Dale Unger
Phone Number:E-MAIL ONLY
Callsign:WB3BEF
Category:MISC
Heading:SCAMMER Warning (using WB3BEF)
Ad Message:ANOTHER UPDATE: I've now been notified at least 21 times over the last week or so regarding someone apparently posing as me, using my name and callsign, and using email addresses such as "daleunger023 at gmail.com", "daleunger024 at gmail.com. Please be aware that this is NOT me! My email is good on QRZ, and I do NOT respond to any ad with an " at gmail" address. No " at gmail" addresses like these are mine.
Everyone, PLEASE have a look at KA9FOX's "Safe Trading Tips" at the link on the QTH home page for some excellent suggestions on vetting an inquiry before responding. Also, PLEASE look at the QTH "Feedback Forum", and the "Scammer Reports" Forum, prior to responding to an inquiry. As for my case, you'll see in the Scammer Reports Forum my posting dated April 29, 2024, along with numerous others warning of potential scams.
Please use these excellent resources to be diligent and to try to avoid being scammed.

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
