FS: NATIONAL HRO-500 RECEIVER: I'm continuing my radio room downsizing and have decided it is time to part with my working, electrically restored HRO-500. I have owned this receiver for a long time. I actually don't recall what year I bought it, but it's by far the classiest receiver I have ever owned. The synth circuit works on all the bands, I changed many capacitors and some out of tolerance resistors too. Cosmetic condition for it's age is an 8.5 out of 10. Caveat, it is a vintage receiver so please do expect to do service on it from time to time. The tuning is smooth and it's really a nostalgic receiver to use! $775.00 firm, cash, USD, no trades or shipping. FS at Dayton, (2) Hallicrafters SX42 Rx: Pair of SX-42 receviers for sale at Dayton Hamvention - $100 for Both!
The top receiver is working, the bottom is a parts unit. Both have nice front panels and restorable cases. I've had these in my restoration queue, won't be getting to them soon, and I need the space.
