Kenwood TL-922A: A Very Nice 922A . 4 Mil serial number. 160 thru 10 Meters . Full output . Has Rich Measures Mods- Parasitic Suppresors, Lower fillament voltage for longer life, a Current limiiting Resistor in HV lead .Each tube has 30 ohm resistor fuse. Has a excellent pair of Eimac 3-500Z's with date codes of 8705 & 8233 that show no signs of over heating or abuse. A minor mark or two on top of Front panel, Side panels panels have been repainted to original color. Overall a 9.8. Dust Free, Non-Smoker. Wired for 220 but can be changed very easily. Keep the Grid current around 200 ma. and it should last a lifetime. comes with copy of the owners manual. As I have no control over how you use this Amp. There is no Warranty. but will not be Doa. F/S: Heathkit SB-220 with 160 meters: I have for sale a very clean and professionally done example of a Heathkit SB-220 with the 160 meter band added.
It is basicly the Rich Measures mod but I chose to use an AL-80B bandswitch instead of relays.
The modification was done by me.
No bands were sacrificed in this conversion.
It has a new 6 position input/output band switch, as well as a custom made ferrite loaded 325uh plate choke.
It has a toroid tank coil added that was made by Bob Rumsey of Balun Designs.
The filament choke and the 160 meter input coil is the same one used in the AL-82.
It has a new Harbach diode/meter board and 8 new 220uf 500volt caps.
This amp puts out full power on all bands from a set of RF parts 3-500Z tubes.
I would like to get $1300 out of this amp but I an open to REASONABLE offers.
