Needs the input circuit looked at. Real nice condition with some scratches on the bottom=not seen when in use. Receive preamp works fine. Comes with the original power cable and can email the buyer the manual w/schematics. This is my lowest price, I have another RF Concepts amp that uses the same finals.

Included is a full output Eimac 4-1000A and chimney, that is being used in this Amp. Has variable tuned input=knob on back panel. Pressurized lower chassis. Needs nothing, except your HVDC supply. 4500vdc 150w drive=1500w output. 7000vdc less than 100 watts drive=1500w output. Variacs on filament transformer and squirrel cage fan. Tune for max output for your drive and HVDC. Has High current vacuum variable on plate load and air variable cap for tune. Will run 1500w out all day long SSB/CW. Include Phone contact in first email. 17"W 10"Deep not including knobs and rear connectors 12 1/2"H excluding the top mounted exhaust fan. FS: Johnson 6N2 Thunderbolt 650w amp: LAST CHANCE BEFORE ORLANDO HAMFEST Johnson 6N2 Thunderbolt dual band amp, over 600 watts out on both 6 and 2 meters with less than 5 watts drive, $875. If you want a big signal on both 6 and 2, this is the cheapest "watts per dollar" way to go. Uses a pair of new 4CX250s, it is over 50 years old; only about 200 were made.
Pros and cons of this amp:
PROS - high power on both 6 and 2 meters for relatively low price; pride of having rare, historic amp.
CONS - it is very heavy (100+ lbs.); may be difficult to find replacement parts.
Tested it and got 800 watts out on both bands, but probably better
not to push it and keep the output down a bit. Amp looks nice for its age, although some scratches and chipped paint off the edges. Has new HV caps, soft start for the HV, and solid state in place of the original tube rectifiers. Comes with 6 spare regulator tubes and an external Dow Key relay for T/R switching. Pickup in south Florida or Orlando hamfest. For sale: SB-200 6 meter, tech special: HEATHKIT SB-200 6 METER, TECH SPECIAL. This SB200 has been stripped of all HF circuitry and rebuilt as a single band 50MHz amplifier. At one time it worked but now it has a problem. All components are included to make a good amplifier. Most of the problem stems from an issue on the input side. Unit has a good power supply, all components, a probable good set of tubes (no guarantee as to full output), a nice front panel, meter and cabinet. This should be an nice project for a competent technician. I do have a lot of information on modifying the SB-200. TITAN 6M amp: Hello all,
I have a titan 6M 2 tube amp I no longer use(no 6m rig for 1yr). I am looking to sell or possible trade. It easily does 300w with about 5-15w in. Last time used with no issues just been taking up space that's now needed. Will take $225.00 shipped.
