Wanted: Drake 2B: Restoring a 2B receiver that is now functioning fine.
However, the copper chassis like most I have restored is discolored on the top side.
My desire is to locate an exceptionally clean 2B.
Interesting how the copper deck on the older 2A model seems to withstand the test of time.

Drake 2B crystal wanted: Hello I am restoring a 2B and need a 11000 KC ( 11 .0 mhz ) crystal.
The 40 mtr band is dead but found it comes alive when I insert a 11.0 MHz signal at the crystal socket. If you have 2B parts radio and can part with the 40 mtr crystal that would be great.
