Ad Message:*** Still Searching ***
My wife just received her Tech license, so I am looking for a dual band (2m/70cm) mobile rig for her..
It doesn't need to be fancy, but it must be a radio that displays 2 bands at once, and easy to use.
It also must include a mic, mobile bracket, and a duplexer if needed, and must be in good working condition.
I'm looking for any older model radio like the Kenwood 721, or the Yaesu 5100, 5200 etc series. Was hoping to spend close to $100, and that is the going price for them on QTH and QRZ.
If you would like to part with a "newer" rig, say the TMV7A, TM731, TM707 for examples, I would be willing to put some more cash into the pot, but nothing over $200. I'm not looking for anything top of the line. Kenwood / Yaesu / Icom rigs are preferred.
I would rather pay via PayPal, or cash if it is local to Long Island.
Thanks for the help

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
