- Hello everyone, I'm selling my ESSB modified Yaesu FT-1000MP Mark V, 200W radio. It's capable of TX and RX at 6.3 Khz bandwidth, it has the Inrad roofing filter mod, modulator audio injection mod, mic audio path capacitors swap, sub-receiver RX 6khz mod.This is a one of a kind analog audio ESSB radio, only for the ESSB enthusiast.
The radio is in fantastic condition aesthetically and electrically, only flaw is the attenuator knob not working on the -6 and -18 dB position, known issue with the Mark V.
It comes with the original boxes, manuals, cables.

The 160 thru 10 meter HF transceiver is technically
an Omni 545 analog. However, a frequency counter
has been added, so that it now has a digital readout.
So it is basically similar to an Omni 546.

It produces about 100 Watts and has a very good
receiver. An audio CW filter is built in, which
is extremely effective.

This is a "Series B" Omni.

Cosmetically it is very good, but not mint.
Everything works as it should.

1800 Hz Premium Crystal Filter For Sale:

This premium 1800 Hz crystal filter is an
InRad 95 K, made specifically for Kenwood.
It has an 8830 Khz center frequency. It
is equivalent to (can be used in the same rigs
as) a Kenwood YK-88-SN-1. Note the "-1"
at the end. This means it is on a small
circuit board that can be plugged in, and
does not require soldering.

Among other rigs, it can be used in a Kenwood
TS-950, TS-940, TS-930, TS-850, TS-690, TS-570,
and others. Most any Kenwood rig that takes
plug in filters.

The 1800 Hz bandwidth is ideal for digital use,
narrow SSB, or wide CW. The InRad filter has
more poles and steeper skirts than the actual
Kenwood, so it will work better in heavy QRM.

- This is a well built W6PO designed amplifier employing "plumber's delight" tubing for the resonator tubes. A turns counter operates the Plate cap. The load cap is adjusted from the rear panel. Adjustable input matching provides for fine tuning of the input SWR. An Omron Technologies Time Delay Relay provides proper warmup for the 8877 (3CX1500A7) tube. The RF deck is mounted in a rack mount case that sits atop a custom built roll around cabinet. The high voltage transformer and filter caps are mounted in a separate housing sitting inside the cabinet. High voltage is manually controlled by a Variac.. The amplifier is wired for 240 AC voltage. Driving the amp with 35 watts easily produces a 1KW signal. 45 - 50 watts brings it to full legal limit. Asking price for this amplifier is $1100.00.
