Ad Message: I have recently obtained 2 Natl Wx Svc 1 KW transmitters built by Scientific radio co in the 70's/80/s. These are in like new condition and appear to be very well designed, built and cared for. They are very clean. I will split these and sell one for $1000, guaranteed to be in good operational shape upon pick up. We will be using one of the pair for a local high power repeater system with multiple receiver sites.
We will convert this to 2M for testing/ demo. If you'd like to be the king of the hill, this is the TX for you. Ship weight is approximately 400 lbs and it is located in NE OHIO - PICK Up or meet half way is possible. This(actually both) transports easily in a minivan. I'll have pic's available after the weekend. This is possibly a once in a lifetime opportunity. I may be reached at davefiris at earthlink.net or at Cell : 330-958-8329. Thanks for looking and 73 from Dave Firis AL 7 OP.
