RADIOANQ - Swan 500CX, 508 VFO, 117XC, VX2 Sale Pending: This Swan 500cx is a very clean, well preserved, well maintained transceiver. The face and cabinet paint are beautiful. The chassis is clean. The can electrolytic has been replaced along with any paper & electrolytic caps below deck. It was aligned by John Bruchey (former Swan employee now SK) who commented on the nice condition of the rig. The 117xc has been recapped and is in very nice condition. The logo on the front is of the right generation for the 500cx The 508 VFO connects as it should and it’s condition matches the 500cx. Included in the sale: Swan 500cx & two spare 6LQ6 final tubes 117xc power supply with internal speaker 508 VFO VX2 Vox I have used this on both CW and SSB with good success. The VX2 VOX works for semi break-in on CW. This was one of my forever-rigs but I have too many. Known round-tuit things that I noticed: CW sidetone only works with the volume way up. The bandswitch needs a better clean/lube. $575 includes 48 shipping. No returns.
