AMPHF - Ameritron ALS-500M linear not working FS
For sale a AMERITRON ALS-500M solid state linear amplifier PARTS or REPAIR. I bought this amplifier broke and thought I would try to fix it. I didn’t even give it a try. I think the output transistors are bad and have no way of or experience in dealing with them. No attempt was made to fix the amp. All the boards look good no burns just two small electrolytic caps has swelling. The caps were located next to the power transistors. Haven’t the skills to fix the amp so I’m selling it for parts or repair. Original power plug an cable included. Small scuff on to of the cabinet . $160 shipped USA only. PayPal ok
