The FT-1000D is the KROB (SK) Special….comes with the original manual and all of his handwritten notes. It is filtered out to the max, and was given a good once over by Gary K0GX a few years ago The FT-1000 MP Mk V was purchased from the TCFMC Club Station when the Golden Valley PD shut down the club station there. Also filtered out to the max, by K0GX. MARS mod was done by Dan at Radio Works before he retired. Neither has been used in a couple of years but I plugged them in and fired them up this weekend, they both work with all their respective bells and whistles. Display and lamps all work just fine. Every "HAM" call when checked on QRZ has NO email listed. I searched and found emails for two of the HAMS on the emails, sent them a message and both responded that they never sent me any email. Be VERY cautious. The SCAMMER changes his/her email with each message and the HAM callsigns, when checked, list NO QRZ email. Be diligent and search via Google, often these HAMS are members of clubs that list member emails. Check and verify.
