RADIOHF - Hallicrafters SX-42 and Halli Reproducer   NEW PRICE! Clean, WORKING SX-42 receiver with Reproducer speaker. Have video of it receiving WWV on 15 MHz with 2 foot wire on floor in garage. Other pix available. I have owned for 34 years. Been in closet most of last ten years. Has newer a/c line cord and some minor caps etc replaced ten years ago. Should be gone through to ensure the great operation that this rcvr can deliver. Front panel is 9. /10. Cabinet is 8.5 / 10. Reproducer front panel is 9. cabinet has scuffs and a few rust spots but a repaint would make it look very nice. as is it’s a 6/ 10. Still presentable. Sold As-Is, no returns due to age ( it’s as old as me!!). Cannot ship as too heavy but will meet within 125 miles of Portland OR. $350 OBO for both units. It works fine except for there is a bad spot in the directional pot at approximately 45 degrees. The meter drops out and then comes back .I have a video of the rotor moving and the meter . Ive cycled it south to south many times and everything else is fine except the dead spot in the pot. Its been all re greased . The connector terminal plate on the bottom could stand replacing but I added all stainless screws and it does work . 175.00 plus shipping or local pickup and its yours. I do have a pic of the bottom and I can take more pics. The control box in the pic does not come with the rotor but I have one for extra $$$. I also have a couple lower mast mounts. This is selling as no warranty no return but again it does work .
