I ordered this amplifier from Ham Radio Outlet along with the PALSTAR HF AUTO TUNER. The amplifier was a back order but I did receive the tuner. I have an ICOM PW1 amplifier (55 lbs.!) and thought I might like to take the LA-1K (27 lbs.) to a summer cabin instead of transporting the PW1 (It weighs twice as much and is larger). While waiting for the LA-1K to arrive I used my ICOM 7300 to feed the PW1 and matched my 500-foot loop antenna with the HF AUTO TUNER. This worked very well, easy to operate and it all fits very well in my closet ham shack. So, I have changed my idea, will not take any amplifier to the summer cabin but will sell the LA_1K. I paid HRO $4028.59 for the amplifier and shipping and received it around September 1st. I have all the original packing material and box. Selling Price is $2600. Method PayPal.
