It is a very, very rugged, heavy duty amplifier, with an extremely rugged power supply, with a huge power transformer, choke input filter, and oil filled filter caps. At over 150 pounds this amplifier is "built like a tank". - Of course all of this is in a very nice floor console, with the power supply in the bottom portion, and the RF portion in the top. - This one works like it should. With full power out of the exciter, it produces 1650 watts into a dummy load. - Cosmetically it is very close to perfect.
