TOWER - Us Tower 85' Tilt Over Model 850MDP
I have a Model 850MDP 85 ft telescopic tower. make me reasonable offer "For sale or trade". It is electric up, electric down and electric tilt over. Fully nested it is 23'6". It extends up to 85'. The US Tower 850MDP is a heavy-duty tower,850 MDP model has a heavy duty motor drive with positive pull down. The MDP models provide motorized raising and lowering of the tower. motor-driven tubular tower designed primarily for amateur radio (ham radio) antennas. This tower cost 24,399.74 when it was bought new. it works as it should and is in excellent shape. it has been taken down and is ready to be put back up. A custom-made 17M / 12M 2-element Vertical antenna manufactured by Zero-Five Vertical Antennas. Built with .058” tubing, this vertical is solid & substantial. The 17M vertical is 14 FT in length allowing for tuning to the frequency most desired, and the 12/M is 10 FT. The two verticals are mounted upon a common SO239 with a fold-over base, making setup & tuning easy. No tuner is required on either band. I use a pair of raised radials per band.
