Ad Number:1413923
Date Placed:12/06/18
Name:Michael Mardit
Phone Number:914-962-5763
Callsign:WA2VQW
Category:POWERSUP
Heading: MULTI-TAP XFMR and FILTER CAP
Ad Message: This will make an excellent starting point for a nice power supply. The transformer is a TRIAD F-60U, 115vac primary, (some of these have dual 115vac primaries) and the secondaries are tapped at 6.5,13,19.5 and 26vac. The current rating is spec'd at 3A intermittent duty. I have tested these for 2 hours at 3A and they hold up fine. The Black-Red and Red-Yellow taps have been cut short but are accessible. The filter cap is a Sprague Powerlytic 36D, 9000uFd at 50vdc. Sold as a set. One transformer and One capacitor. Shipping weight will be about 5 pounds. $10 for the set plus actual cost to ship. (Auction sites have listed these transformers at $48 each! Search my other ads for other things you may want and we can combine items in a FLAT RATE BOX to reduce shipping cost.

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
