RARE HALLICRAFTERS SR-500 total station: For Sale: Truly rare vintage Hallicrafters SR-500 station. Includes HT-30 transmitter driving a HT-31 linear amplifier plus the SX-100 receiver. All mounted in the Hallicrafters custom steel desk. 99 percent original for restoration including T/R relay and the correct antenna switch. This was introduced for Christmas of 1955 and cost $1500.00. It has not been powered up for at least 40 years, so will need complete restoration. Obviously, pick-up only and it will make an entire short-box pickup load. Price is the same as when it sold originally….$1500. More pics available for serious inquiries. The correct 14-volt GE dynamotor is included along with the connectors needed to make up the high voltage and control cables. I had this unit on the air and it worked quite well.
