Original box included. This sale is for the DSP-1 optional module designed specifically for the Yaesu VR-5000 DC to daylight receiver. The receiver is a marvel of design in that it can receive a wealth of frequencies in all the major listening modes. We have one installed in each of our two family vehicles as it is the best receiver to enable us to listen to shortwave broadcasts while driving since it can pick up what we need to hear using an amateur radio 2 meter antenna for a receiving antenna. Other shortwave receivers are more prone to ignition noise and do not perform well using such a short antenna.
