POWERSUP - For Sale: Elmac PS-2V Power Supply: Hi everyone!
For sale here is a very nice and somewhat rare Elmac model PS-2V power supply.
This is the preferred power supply for the Elmac A-54, AF-67 and AF-68 transmitters, and other similar transmitters which use the supplied voltages. It is preferred over others due to larger transformers, clearly marked open terminal connections, and flexibility.
This particular unit is in good physical condition and works well. See pictures. It also has the optional factory-correct PTR-1 PTT relay kit installed which allows for full PTT transmitter operation.
This unit has been totally upgraded to modern filter capacitors. The original capacitors have been disconnected but were left in place in order to retain original look. The new capacitors are installed underneath the chassis. I also upgraded from 5U4 to a 5R4 HV rectifier tube due to increased ratings. MISC - RS PRO-668 Digital Trunking Scanner: Radio Shack Pro-668 digital trunking scanner. Works just fine. Can download the RS programming software from RadioReference. It's in good shape but has some wear on a couple keys and the screen shows some minor scratches. 16gig SD card included.
This really is a cool scanner if used/programmed properly, and it receives and decodes really well as-is. Apparently, you can do the "DMR upgrade" yourself for free, at your own risk. Or use it with the Radio Shack programming software in stock configuration.
