RADIOANQ - WRL UM-1 modulator: For sale is a homebrew version of the WRL UM-1 modulator designed to plate moudulate a Globe Chief 90 and other transmitters. It at minimum needs a bias resistor which is broken for the 1885/6L6 modulators. The modulation transformer is a CVM-2 multi-impedance unit. I did not have success getting it going and modulating my Lyscon 600S though it seemed clean on the o'scope. This is a heavy best with all that iron so very hard to pack and safely ship. I am asking $50 for it picked up in SE Michigan. MISC - RADIODDITY: Purchased a New X6100 from Radioddity & a week later it arrived.As soon as I connected it I knew it had issues.It transmitted & received at the same time on whatever band or frequency you were on.Information online said it said there was an issue with the firmware & to upgrade the firmware.Myself & a friend spent over 3 hours attempting to upgrade the firmware with Zero success.
