I have restored and repurposed the Plantronics product for amateur SSB/AM use. I originally provided these for some severely handicapper hams. I am amazed at the transmitted audio quality and fidelity. The microphone is noise cancelling. The wireless headset utilizes the transceiver’s VOX control. Installation is simple only requiring VOX adjustments, Microphone gain and compression level. Included is the Plantronics device, prewired interface cable for either Yaesu 8 pin Round or RJ-45 connector, Kenwood or Icom 8 pin round connector, headset, 9-volt wall wart and instructions for use. The 238 is a 2KW High Power Antenna Tuner that
uses TenTec's tried and true L match design.
It has a roller inductor and 4 selectable
antenna outputs. Wattmeter and SWR bridge are
built in.

Electrically, this one works 100% as it should.
The meter works fine, and all lights work.

Cosmetically, it is challenged. Please see picture.
It is missing the top and side cover. If you
have a bending brake, you could easily make
the U shaped cover.
The knobs are not original, but work well, with
no problems.
The plexiglass strip that covers the meter and
along the top is missing.

If you want a high power antenna tuner that
works well, and do not care about the cosmetics,
this is the one for you. Buy it with the original
manual for $150, plus shipping from Florida.

panel that is made for the Icom IC-706
Mk II G HF and VHF transceiver. It
attaches to the front of the rig, and
permits remote use of the rig.

Perhaps someone stole the front panel
(control head) of yours, and left the
rest. If so, this is just what you need!

I do not have an IC-706 to test this on.
It came out of the drawer of a silent key.
That is all I know about it.
