FOR SALE: COMMANDER II VHF Amp 650 WATTS: Purchased this Command Technologies Commander II VHF Linear Amplifier (450 Watts FM and 650 Watts USB/LSB) 3 years ago and had no tube in place. Gentleman that sold it to me stated it worked but had no tube. So I purchased a used 3CX800A7 tube from a seller who did not know condition. I tested (with used tube I purchased) amplifier using mobile VHF radio and no output. Per the meter on front it shows HV present but I did not get any output. Did I buy a bad tube ? Is there other issue with amp ? Anyways the amp is super clean inside and looks like it was never tampered with. I have many inside and outside pictures for you, just ask and I will email them to you. This amplifier is very heavy and will approach 70 lbs packed so shipping will be high. I would love to sell locally but will ship if payment by Zelle. Selling AS-IS for it does not presently work. Meter works and there is High Voltage present.
