Bird 72RS3 antenna switch ok condx: Bird 72RS3 antenna switch ok condx- cant seem to get much information on this item but one site says this two position switch switches a transmitter to a dummy load and an antenna to ground- all in one GO - but only found the one source of this information. It might also be used for other functions (dont know for sure). NOTE: im nettyelectronics dot com and I sell small stuff mainly. I do trades as well. Im also open to offers. The label on the switch seems yellowed a bit-- maybe due to age-i can send many photos to anyone whos interested in this item. Barker & Williamson Matchmaster 52-500: Capable of handling 600w with the internal dummy load. The more common version is the lower powered #650/651. This is rated at 600W for 10 minutes, very over built and sturdy. It also uses B&W "Quiet Tune", where only a few mW of power is sent to the antenna while in the SWR mode, with most of the power being absorbed by the internal load to make for a good neighbors while tuning the antenna. A small fan would easily make it good for 1kw for short periods.
