I am aware of at least 5 Johnson 500 RF decks that have no power supply and I believe there are many more out there and even some badly corroded power supply chassis as well. The attached picture shows a brand new power supply chassis that I had fabricated with a laser. I am test fitting it with components to make sure it matches the original chassis in every detail. It is made of steel with welded corners.
Price for the chassis varies with the number purchased. I believe I can get to a price of $125 unplated plus shipping with a purchase of 10 chassis. Nickel plating is an additional cost. I am also documenting the vendors/sources of parts to build the power supply and that will be included with the chassis. Right now all I need is an indication of serious interest. Once the price is established I will reach out with terms for acquiring the chassis.
