Wanted: NC-303, L5 80khz inductor: Hello everyone,
I had a National NC-303 in the 60's which I traded for some SSB gear. Big Mistake! I like to use the vintage gear on AM and always wished I had kept my NC-303. I bought a NC-303 that didn't work but was complete except for the audio knob. After going through the normal sequences of restoring vintage gear, I found no plate voltage on V3 which meant L5 was open, which it was. I could use that L5 80khz inductor, B12415 variable inductor to get the 303 working.
