Sherwood SE-3 MkIII-D Synch Detector: Sherwood Engineering SE-3 MkIII-D synchronous detector in untested condition. This one has the 19" rack mount face but cosmetics are only fair and bottom of chassis has rust areas. Can send photos upon request. User will need to provide a Hammond BPD2G AC wall xfmr (Digikey), some 2-conductor 18AWG wire, and a 4-blade Cinch Jones connector along with a coax jumper from radio to the SE-3 to operate. I just no longer have the energy or time to refurb a project like this. For Sale: IC-7610 Tuner Tamer: From the SK estate of a friend: This is the Tuner Tamer made by WB8LLN. It fills a deficiency in the 7610 tuner operation. You plug it into the tuner connector on the rear of the 7610. On the front there's a pushbutton that, when pressed, causes the 7610 to generate a ten watt carrier regardless of the mode the 7610 is in. You can then use that signal to tune your manual tuner or to activate an external auto-tuner. When finished you press the button again to turn it off. If you're an SSB operator, that saves having to switch to a constant carrier mode and fiddle with the power control. $ 15 plus shipping cost. It provides a convenient way to connect your PC to an amateur radio transceiver and send Morse both under computer control and by iambic paddle. Morse keying that is generated by a PC based application is prone to timing problems that are a result of the multitasking nature of Windows and other operating systems. All it takes is a long disk search or slow peripheral access to upset the intricate timing of Morse letters. This shows up even more at higher speeds such as you would find in a CW contest.
