HYGAIN ROTOR LOWER MAST ADAPTER: This adapter, HyGain P/N 5030500, fits any of the Ham type rotors and attaches to the bottom of the rotor with four 1.0 OR 1.25 inches bolts. (provided). It needs the clamp plate kit which includes two u-bolts and the plate.(not provide) to complete the clamp assembly. The unit has two very small slots on the top of the frame what cause no loss of strength in the structure.
Some have used, this type assembly, to connect a dipole at the top of a mast and using the two side holes for the dipole tie point. $20 + shipping. For Sale Orion 2800 Rotor and controller: FOR SALE
M2 ORION 2800 Rotor. This is a deal beats paying $3000 for new one. This is the AC version. Found in one of the climate control storage boxes. It works great , Tight and smooth , came from Nevada High Desert. Was used very little. Top seal looks great ,operates smoothly. $1200.00. I have the Original Control Box. It’s NO Charge to you !!
Note the indicator does not show direction but operates rotor great. You can tinker with. Or control this heavy duty rotor with a Green Heron control box or other tool. Unit is very clean! For your information the Newer versions are DC . It didn’t bother me to purchase AC version as I’ve owned several of each. Check or cash due to weight I’ll split freight on Rotor. The Controller is free! Doing my estate sale while still alive after 61 years of ham radio. Thinning out anything I want use. Call me. I have Yaesu FT950 too only $600.00 used very little on 6 meters portable.
