Glen Martin RT-936 9 foot Roof Tower: This is the heaviest duty roof tower you will find. Unlike currently available Roof Towers that are rated at 12 Square Feet antenna windload, this tower is rated at 16 Square Feet. Why? Because this tower uses 1/4" Aluminum Angle Iron, not 3/16". Glen Martin made quality stuff. It is also a true 9' roof tower, not under 8'. Now that Glen Martin is out of business, these Super Heavy duty towers are becoming nearly impossible to find. Tower is in perfect condition unlike many towers that have all kinds of holes drilled into them to mount cross bars, which weakens the Angle Iron.This tower will last a lifetime or 2. Note: The original cables used on this tower were 3/16" cables. These new cables use 1/4" galvanized cable and thimbles plus professionally crimped copper Nicropress sleeves on each end, excluding the 91.5' cable which only has a Nicropress and thimble on one end.
