S/N 2336. Good working condition with a new Dave Curry 6kc mechanical filter for AM reception in addition to the standard 3kc mechanical filter. With the following exception, the cosmetic condition is excellent. Two BNC connectors are added on the rear as part of a modification of unknown origin. Inside the radio, the mod consists of two small circuit boards (about 2 inches square), both of which are disconnected from the receiverís circuitry. $750.
The radio is located in Oak Ridge, TN (Knoxville area, convenient to both I-40 and I-75). Pickup is preferred. Shipping might be arranged but has become pricey. Inquiries by telephone OK, but please no later than 1900 Eastern Daylight.

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
