You are responding to the following ad:

Ad Number:1489766
Date Placed:05/22/20
Name:Rick McCallum
Phone Number:5203991527
Callsign:KC7MF
Category:RADIOHF
Heading:Yaesu Ft-757 GX + Yaesu AT-757 Tuner
Ad Message:The radio is not dead. The audio on receive is weak and somewhat distorted. The transmit shows 120-130 watts and the transmit audio is also distorted. I opened the case solely to look for an easy fix and did not find one. What I found is that someone had been there before me. That was pretty obvious from the transmit output anyway. All the filter slots are full: XF-47M-203 XF-8.2M-272 XF-8.2-601. The case is good for its age but there are scratches on the bottom.
The antenna tuner seems to work. It looks fair. The case has been opened but I have no idea what the person who did it was doing. It makes noise and says "ready". The meter light is burned out.
I have the manual for the radio and the antenna tuner as well as the service manual. I have the microphone and obviously the power cable.
I do not have the patience to tear into this. I am selling or trading it for parts or repair. I prefer to trade but if you want to make an offer for both, fire away.

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
