Ad Number:1495064
Date Placed:06/29/20
Name:Dale R. Parfitt
Phone Number:8287431338
Callsign:W4OP
Category:RADIOANQ
Heading:F.S. N3ZI VFO FOR DRAKE TR-7
Ad Message:I have just bought a Drake RV-75 VFO and so am selling my N3ZI DDS VFO for the TR-7. It is built to look like a piece of 7 line gear. From the front panel one can enable RIT and choose between 10Hz and 100Hz tuning steps. A toggle switch on the rear apron turns the DDS on and off. When OFF, VFO control returns to the TR-7.The blue digital display reads from 0 to 500 KHz. So on 80M and 28.5MHz one adds 500KHz. So 3750 would read 250 on the display. All other bands read normally. Typical of many rigs of the day- like the Drake 4 line. 1KHz tuning steps are treated in the manual: https://www.pongrance.com/dds-2016Vmanual.pdf
In addition to the DDS there is a 2N5109 amplifier used to lift the DDS output up to the level required by the TR-7.
While not installed, the cabinet and rear apron is drilled for a Yack keyer:

$250 includes UPS. PayPal/check/money order. Dale W4OP

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
