Ad Number:1498777
Date Placed:07/26/20
Name:Jack C. Shutt
Phone Number:E mail only
Callsign:W9GT
Category:TOWER
Heading:Large Very Heavy Duty 80 ft.Steel Tower
Ad Message:Tower Communications TCC Model 24-25 Heavy Duty 80 ft. guyed steel tower. This was formerly used as a microwave tower and consists of two #25 and two #24 sections. Approximately 38" across the face, this tower will hold just about anything you want to put on it. You can readily climb up the inside of it to do work and it is guyed at two levels with 5/16" EHS guy cables which are broken up with large porcelain insulators. I even have the original manual/catalog info and specs. All guys and hardware included. The tower is presently standing and you will have to take it down with a crane. This is Super strong tower and would be great for a contest station. This tower lends itself also to going higher with rotating sections of Rohn 45 extending out the top. I have a friend who has done exactly that with some of the same tower sections. I want to put up a smaller tower and I am looking for a 60-70' crank -up. I would certainly consider a trade deal. $2,000 TNX & 73, Jack, W9GT

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
