Avanti "On Glass" Mobile Antennas For Sale:
-
These Avanti antennas mount "thru the glass",
typically on the windshield of a car, and provide
a method to mount the antenna where no other
method is available.
-
These antennas work well in most circumstances,
but do not function well if you have metal in
the glass (such as defroster tape) where you
mount it.
-
Both of these are NEW, still sealed in their
tube.
-
Avanti AP 450.3 G
Covers from 410 thru 572 MHz, which of course
includes the 440 MHz ham band.
It offers 3 db gain. $30
-
Avanti AV-240
Covers 27/28 MHz, and is a half wave antenna. $35
-
Prices do not include shipping from Florida.
-
Thanks. 73,

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
