Ad Message:this person contacted me trying to sell a 5 month old icom 7610, claiming to be Jerry. He thought he was slick by also creating an email using his callsign, he's the wrong class ticket holder, said he purchased the rig direct from icom yet can't find the receipt, he then copied and pasted text from a different icom ad, He offered the radio for $1k less, He sent me mismatched photos, and phone number shows a fraud alert. his paypal email was made up on the spot. Be careful out there guys. To the real KI4OUV, please be careful, someone is using your info trying to scam people.
Here's the info he sent:
Initial email address jerryki4uov at gmail.com
Identified himself as Jerry L Parish
Phone number: 6152419065
Paypal email: palbreadmaker.1989 at gmail.com

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
