Ad Number:1527407
Date Placed:02/18/21
Name:Bill Curtis
Phone Number:9106034239
Callsign:N1RIK
Category:AMPVHF
Heading:FORE SALE: Motorola 900 MHz 100 watt PA
Ad Message:This is a Motorola TTF-1242B 100 watt continuous 900 MHz PA. I used it with one of my previous 900 MHz ham repeaters on 927.1375 MHz. Requires 2-4 watts drive. I believe I was getting 100 watts with about 3.5 watts in. It was able to produce quite a bit more power than 100 watts, however I would not recommend you running it over 100 watts. I have been reluctant to sell this seeing it's such a great PA, however I'm running Quantars on 900 MHz now which include their own 100 watt amplifier. I did have (2) 120mm AC fans on this PA held on with zip ties which I took off. The holes are there in the heatsink so you can put (2) 120mm fans in their place again. This PA is very heavy, so I would recommend pick up. But I will ship.. you pay shipping though. I accept PayPal or cash. Asking $200 plus shipping. I'm in North Carolina. 73..Bill N1RIK

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
