Ad Number:1533958
Date Placed:04/06/21
Name:Frank
Phone Number:NA
Callsign:KF2YD
Category:TEST
Heading:Heathkit IT-18 Transistor Tester
Ad Message:Heathkit IT-18 Transistor Tester -
The chassis and the carrying case look very nice it and works very well. All of the switches were cleaned and I also calibrated it.
The only issue was that one battery contact had to cleaned up because of battery leakage but it now works fine. Because of the fact that the chassis is pretty difficult to remove and reinstall I installed a external AA battery holder. This makes replacing the battery much easier and also reduces the risk of damaging anything when removing the chassis from the case. The transistor and diode tester will also come with the complete manual on a CD.
I have many more pictures, please ask and I will send you more pictures. $75 plus $16 for shipping to the lower 48 states. Paypal or USPS money order.

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
