Ad Number:1534068
Date Placed:04/07/21
Name:John Mardock
Phone Number:4025256111
Callsign:KR0P
Category:AMPHF
Heading:Heathkit SB-220
Ad Message:Here is a working SB-220 in good shape. Its dual Eimac 3-500 tubes still put out over 1000 watts. This SB-220 has been upgraded with the Harbach power supply mod (Capacitors and rectifier/metering board) and has the soft start as well as a soft key mods as well. Need more pictures just email. This amplifier will be expensive to ship so I will split the actual cost of shipping. Estimate shipping will be about $60 to the buyer in the continental USA. The amplifier will have to be shipped separate of the tubes and both amplifier and tubes will have to be double boxed for safer shipping. $895 plus half the actual shipping estimated to be about $120 total. Paypal OK but add 3% for the PayPal fee. Local pickup is OK and preferred, price will be reduced by $60 for local pickup.

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
