Ad Number:1534237
Date Placed:04/08/21
Name:Charles Ward Bishop
Phone Number:907-398-3630
Callsign:WL7UP
Category:RADIOANQ
Heading:COLLINS 51-s-1 Square emblem
Ad Message:Hello all, i`ve got a 51s-1 in the square , rectangle emblem for sale. It`s very nice and has the finger hole plastic and the dial break. They were at the last of the mochicans when these were made and have all the changes and mods done factory. They were so expensive back them only governments and rich folks could afford them as they were 3500.00 a pop. This radio came out of the Yugoslavian military base and was a present for the general that was in charge. When he left he took it home ( of course) and the gentleman i got it from ended up with it after his death. After a warm up it is dead on at the 3933 motley net, and dead on at the 14.263 collins net. Some bands are hard to get results on because being in Alaska the bands are pretty dead. I haven't heard anyone on ten meters in five years as an example. This radio is very nice and ill give you pics and details if your interested.

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
