Ad Number:1548058
Date Placed:07/21/21
Name:David Kitchen
Phone Number:615-772-7878
Callsign:WR4N
Category:AMPHF
Heading:FOR SALE Alpha 76 CA PRISTINE Dick Byrd
Ad Message:TRULY PRISTINE. I bought it from original owner. DICK BYRD has done Mods including 3CX800 tubes, QSK, WARC Bands, etc. It is a CA MODEL with the Optional Extended Duty Hypersil Transformer. It includes all paperwork, manuals, etc. since bought new. May 12, 2021, I drove the Amp to GA so Dick Byrd could install EIMAC Tubes (which he did) and do a full inspection. I have a letter from him that states: "The amplifier is excellent in terms of cosmetics and performance. Less than 70 watts drive will produce the legal limit, key down. Two Kilowatts is possible with normal meter parameters, though not recommended." This is not the cheapest 76 CA, but well worth $2,000 FIRM. Pick up or may meet buyer. Happy to send more pics or answer any questions. 615-772-7878

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
