Ad Number:1587036
Date Placed:04/24/22
Name:Dan Coleman
Phone Number:864 770-5676
Callsign:W8KMX
Category:CABLE
Heading:75 OHM HARDLINE FOR SALE
Ad Message:75 OHM HARDLINE FOR SALE
I have a continuous 706 foot run of 75 ohm, one half inch, hardline with messenger and hard covering (capable of burying) for sale. This hardline is still rolled as it was on the wood spool. This hardline has never been used. Comes with several connectors. The connectors are used but are good. A usage example, I use about a 450 foot piece of this hardline that goes from my operating desk to my Pro-67 beam (hidden in the woods). I have an UNUN (75Z to 52Z) on both ends and the system works wonderful. I use a separate piece about 200 feet long that feeds a dipole perfectly. Virtually no loss on either system. SWR is 1:1. I can show you how to wind the UnUn as well as using connectors etc. So this can be a good asset to your ham station at a reasonable cost. Price is $150.00 cash (that is about $0.20 per foot) and pick up only in Walhalla, South Carolina. Contact me for additional information. Thanks for reading. W8KMX

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
