Ad Number:1589735
Date Placed:05/14/22
Name:Dave+McFarland
Phone Number:E-mail+only
Callsign:KC9UKD
Category:RADIOVHF
Heading:FOR SALE: KENWOOD TR-7950 with TONES
Ad Message:FOR SALE: KENWOOD TR-7950: This ad is for a working KENWOOD TR-7950 2 Meter FM Transceiver #4070890 $80 SHIPPED. It is in good cosmetic condition. It has a Com-Spec tone encoder TE-12P with twelve preset channels. Each of the twelve channels can be one of the 32 standard CTCSS frequencies from 67.0 Hz to 203.5 Hz. I could hear several local repeaters and checked into a local net. The memory function works. I measured the RF power into a 50 ohm resistive dummy load 144MHz- 148 MHz at 45 watts on high and 4.5 watts on low. Not all functions were tested. A Kenwood MC-46 microphone, mounting bracket, and a short power cable are included. It is being sold AS IS. Shipping will be within USA only, no international shipping and payment by check or money order.

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
