Ad Number:1594155
Date Placed:06/19/22
Name:Dave+McFarland
Phone Number:E-mail+only
Callsign:KC9UKD
Category:TEST
Heading:FOR SALE: EICO RF SIGNAL GENERATOR #324
Ad Message:FOR SALE: EICO RF SIGNAL GENERATOR #324 $45 Shipped: This mostly working EICO RF SIGNAL GENERATOR Model 324 #33472 is in fair to good physical condition. It would make a good very cheap RF signal generator. I purchased this item at a local sale and all 7 of the original old paper capacitors had been replaced with modern ones and the power supply filter capacitors were replaced with modern capacitors. I replaced the A/C power cord with a 3 wire A/C power cord, the old style RF output connector with a BNC. I observed a good RF signal across bands B, C, D, E, and F on my oscilloscope. However, the A band audio frequency (150-400 KC) was bad, either no output or the wrong frequency. The modulation works. This generator is being sold AS.
Shipping will be within USA only, no international shipping.
Payment by check or money order is required.

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
