Ad Number:1605592
Date Placed:09/10/22
Name:Bradley Steadman
Phone Number:412-266-6588
Callsign:KE0XS
Category:AMPHF
Heading:FS: Ameritron AL-82 amplifier
Ad Message:Purchased 08/12/2020 from HRO Virginia along with the GOP board(Grid Over Load Protection.). This amplifier is flawless physically and electronically and seldom used.

Sometime in late October 2020 the amplifier would un-key for no reason. The unit was returned to Ameritron for warranty repair on 11/24/2020. The problem was an intermittent OPR/STBY switch. The amplifier was shipped back on 02/05/2021 next day air and has functioned flawlessly ever since.

I have all the original boxes/manual.

Reason for sale: I’m done with the hobby.

Asking $2,100. This is a cash only local pick up. NO SHIPPING. I’m good on QRZ. I can be reached via Email, Text or phone.

I’m willing to drive within a 50 mile radius of Pittsburgh to meet someone.

Thanks
Brad

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
