Ad Number:1620190
Date Placed:12/29/22
Name:Mark Morgan
Phone Number:210-Navy-LDO
Callsign:WW9Z
Category:ROTATORS
Heading:Ham IV rotor, CD44 CTRL 100' cable
Ad Message:Fully functional Ham V rotor in great condition with CD-44 controller. I’m the second owner and it was rebuilt by Norms Rotor Service back in the late 90’s. Norms Rotor is still in business. https://normsrotorservice.com/
I used it for a couple years in South GA before replacing it with a Yaesu G-5500 AZ rotor & controller. This rotor was boxed up tight while the submarine force moved me around until I retired in 2018 then moved to TN and unboxed it and hooked it up and exercised it today…it was never on its side…always vertical.

It has the break delay also, meaning when you release the brake it engages in about 3 seconds. I opened the controller to perform clean & inspect...all's well. If I recall the control cable is ~100ft but will measure it. Estimate 30lbs to ship before insurance. Asking $650 + shipping or trade for a VHF/UHF rig.

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
