Ad Number:1631004
Date Placed:03/18/23
Name:Jim Cast
Phone Number:954-383-8080
Callsign:N4PSE
Category:RADIOANQ
Heading:F/S: Highly Mod'ed DX60 Vintage Xmtr
Ad Message:I've had my fun; time to find it a new home. Highly modified; nicely done (not by me) and worked perfectly when last used two years ago. Mod's are as follows:
1. New A/C on -off switch added to front panel- cures common DX60
issue
2. Built in antenna relay; RX mute and AMP control line. I used it to
drive an AL80B on AM- worked great.
3. PTT control added- includes D-104 mike in nice shape
4. Spot switch added to front panel, modulation indicator lamp added
5. Modulation circuit highly modified- sounds like plate modulation.
Only known issue- needs to be re-neutralized to work on 10 meters; works fine on 80-15 when last used.
More pictures available; includes 3.885 AM freq. crystal and 7.036 crystal to get you started- as well as the D-104 mike.
$190 plus shipping that I estimate will be $40-50; it's very heavy. $145 without the D-104. I take PAYPAL and will pay the fees. Can be picked up in western NC.

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
