Ad Number:1698084
Date Placed:08/15/24
Name:Jim Latham
Phone Number:7158882145
Callsign:KP2XX
Category:AMPHF
Heading:F.S. Ameritron 811 Amp
Ad Message:For sale a new Ameritron 811A amplifier in the factory box never opened. $1000. According to Ameritron this Amp is rated at 600 watts out and uses three inexpensive 811A tubes. Easy tunning and cheap tubes makes this a great amp for those hams wanting more punch on 160-10 meters including the WARC bands. These 811A amps are happy running off 120 VAC lines. This amplifier was purchased from HRO on 6/18/24 and was recently manufactured. I’m located in Western Wisconsin just across the border from the Twin Cities of Minnesota and can deliver in that area. I prefer not to ship. The amp is in the double box it came in from HRO. I opened one side of the box to take the attached photo. I will only sell to licensed ham operators so include your license call sign with any inquiries. Call me with any questions you have.

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
