Ad Number:1710486
Date Placed:11/30/24
Name:Edward Schwinger
Phone Number:3022682596
Callsign:N3YH
Category:AMPHF
Heading:Central Electronics 600L 20A 458 Package
Ad Message:Hey Guys!
I will make a special deal on my early 1950s Central Electronics Transmitter and Amplifier package!!!
This includes the amplifier, transmitter, VFO, customized microphone and dow key relay!!!
This includes the 600L Broadband No Tune Amplifier, the 20A Transmitter, 458 VFO, Modified D-104 Microphone and DowKey Relay!!!
This set is somewhat historically interesting as Central Electronics was one of the first companies to develop single sideband!
They started with the 10A model then the 10B model and finally perfected everything in this 20A model!
Also to note the VFO here is a military ARRC 5 radio that has been modified from the factory to work as a VFO!
And also worth noting is the broadband no tune amplifier here was decades ahead of its time!!!
This package has been electronically restored and is easily worth $1,500 or more...
... But I will go $1,100 if we can make the sale happen quickly!!!
This is located just outside Newark Delaware for local pickup

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
