Ad Message: | I bought this a year ago at a hamfest to set up as a constant monitor for 6 Meters. Before I set it up, I found a Kenwood TS-60 to use, instead. Today I wired up this Yeasu to check it out. I used a vertical antenna that tunes to 6M, and copied a CW beacon that is about 50 miles away. On SSB transmit, there appears to be modulated output, but I don't have a calibrated meter. I suspect the amp may not be putting out the full 10 watts. I am selling this radio with fused power cord for 12v DC, hand mic with tone pad on the back, and the amplifier module. I do not have the optional battery module. Also included is the manual and seven pages of schematics for the RF amplifier. The radio tunes 50 to 54 MHz and can switch between USB/LSB/CW/FM. Display lights up, and dial tuning steps are selectable. Squelch works, too. Asking $100, plus shipping from 23513. No returns. CONUS sales only. |
