Ad Message:	FOR SALE: KENWOOD TS-520 and MC-50. I have gone thru this radio extensively. I replaced the HV electrolytics for the 800 Volts plus 4 other electrolytics. I removed and repaired the VFO to eliminate the jumping in tuning caused by the congealed grease. Re-lubed with lithium grease and tightened the tensioner spring for the tuning cap. Cleaned all the knobs and the front panel. Repainted the cabinet a lighter gray. Radio has the left side door and the 9 pin jumper on the back accessory socket. These are often missing. Also has the original KENWOOD power cord and plug so you don't have to spend $50 or more to get one off of Ebay. Carry strap in good shape. Volume pot a bit scratchy, not open though. 90-100 watts out. Radio works but remember, it is 40+years old. Pictures available for serious buyers. Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
