Ad Number:1716391
Date Placed:01/23/25
Name:Jim Crofutt
Phone Number:email only
Callsign:N0XE
Category:RADIOANQ
Heading:Qrp 2 tube transmitter for sale
Ad Message:I have a very nice 2 tube transmitter for sale, This appears to have been a kit sold in New England based on a small ID plate under the chassis, I tried researching the company but came up blank, The transmitter uses a 6C4 and a 6AQ5 tube, makes a good 5 watts out, It was built in to what looks like a pie pan or flat bread pan, can send photos, The construction is first rate and the bottom cover has a clear view plexiglass bottom , The transmitter covers 160. 80 and 40 meters, and comes with all coils, It takes 3 types of crystals with the FT-243 being the only ones I tested, Power supply is built in , there is also a light that flashes as you send, It appears to have a pi network as it will oscillate even in to a high SWR although power out is reduced , Under 2 to 1 shows a nice 5 watts out, There is a tuning cap on top for adjusting TX tuning, A neat feature is a built in Crystal spotting feature $90 shipped 73 Jim N0XE

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
